It is only glass but I absolutely love this stuff. Dichroic Glass was the first material I ever designed jewellery with and when made by a master the results are stunning. I love the way a dichroic pendant can show a whole other mood and character when you change the colour of your clothes. You can dress it up or dress it down. Dichroic glass can be incredibly dramatic or demure. I hope you enjoy looking at my pieces using dichroic glass cabachons and beads.
How is it made?: Dichroic glass is made by fusing a coating developed for the space industry to glass. The colours are vibrant and the different techniques used produce incredibly stunning pieces.
A note about photography and dichroic glass: The nature of dichroic glass and its layered construction means that photographing it accurately is a real challenge for an enthusiastic amateur like me. However I have been experimenting with techiques to give as accurate an impression of each piece as I can. However, I can't control the settings on your monitor so colours may not be absolutely accurate.
You'll find two pages of jewellery and pendants. There is a small selection of snake chains in both silver plate (great quality) or sterling silver (excellent quality).
