Eyes, lakes with my simple intoxication to be rebornOther than the actor, who, with his gesturesAs with a pen, evoked the the disgusting soot of the lamps,I have pierced a window in the wall of cloth.
Limpid, treacherous swimmer with my leg and arms,In many a bound, renouncing the evil Hamlet! It is as if I began a thousand tombs in the wavesTo disappear into them a virgin.
Merry gold of the cymbal beaten with fists,All at once the sun strikes the pure nakednessWhich was breathed from my cool mother-of-pearl.
When you passed over me, rancid night of the skin,Not knowing, ingrate, that it was my whole annointing,This rouge drowned in the deceitful waters of glaciers. This necklace uses some of my most favourite things to design with. Firstly the artisan made glass beads by Tania Grey, a very talented Cornish artist. These particular beads are made using 'raku' glass which depends very heavily on the skill of the lampworker to produce the different colour effects. Dichroic glass seed beads are interspersed between the Czech glass 'montana blue' rounds and Bali Silver. The length is approximately 19 inches. I imagine our femme fatale wearing this necklace as she gets up to leave, another broken heart in her wake!
Price includes postage and packing. My heartfelt thanks to 'mishari' for translating the poem.

This design perhaps more than any other has pushed me into foreign territory regarding jewellery design which doesn't mean of course that others have not already been and done before.
This is a large necklace in many regards! The lenth is 22.5 inches but will wear more like a 19-20 inch necklace (must get one of those necklace cones! so I can be more precise!). It is quite a weight as well. The oblongs are Silver leaf jasper and these are a wonderful colour with some natural falt lines (perfectly stable though). The largest beads are 1.5x1.25 inches approximately. The smaller rounds are undyed onyx beads that are from an old necklace (minimum 30 years old). The metal spacer beads are gold filled (similar to the rolled gold of old). I've handfashioned the end links from goldfilled wire and palest champaign coloured Swarovski crystals. The clasp is a gold filled lobster clasp.
