Warrior Shield Fine Silver Pendant £25 This pendant was created using silver clay. I have shaped, impressed a design and 8 blue cubic zurconium facted stones into the wet clay. I have used a slip clay to create the swirls which I distressed. The piece was fired with a torch and given a brushed and lightly burnished finish and then given an antique silver look. Buy Now: Pierced Coin Necklace (5 Deutsch Mark 1970s) £30 The story behind the coin: I bought this coin as part of a necklace in a mall in Pennsy back late 1970s/early 1980s. It was one of my favourites for a while but it disappeared into the jewellery box for a decade or so until I thought I could do something more interesting with it. The coin is a genuine West German 5 Mark piece from the 1970 which has been pierced to bring the Eagle out. It has a hole for the ring which connects it to the heavy sterling silver wire bail which I've given a brushed look and hammered lightly (tool marks are evident and part of its design). I've attached the bail armature to genuine black leather cord lengths via sterling silver wrapped black haematite beads. The ends are sterling silver as is the clasp. A striking piece which requires a strong person to wear it (man or woman). The length is between 17.5-18 inches. The bail is slightly curved but can be straightened with some effort.
